eclipse-wtp-xmltools software package provides Eclipse XML tools and editors, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-wtp-xmltools
eclipse-wtp-xmltools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-wtp-xmltools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-wtp-xmltools *
You will get with eclipse-wtp-xmltools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
